Angline Potter

Angline “Angie” Potter, 101 of Mauston passed away Saturday September 2, 2017 at theFair View Nursing Home with family by her side. She was born October 3 rd , 1915 in Broadhead, WI, to Dain and Mary “Carter” Attewell.
She spent her early years traveling by horse and buggy with her family who bought and soldhorses around northern Wisconsin. She married Arthur “Buster” Potter on June 7 th , 1939 in Iowa and made their home and raised their family in Mauston.
Angie is survived by: her daughter Sharon (Don) Oyler of El Cajon CA, her son Rick (Joannie)Potter of Mauston; and her grandchildren: Shannon (Scott) Arambel of Wausau WI, Brett(Joelle) Oyler of San Diego CA, Andy (Amy) Potter of Wonewoc, and Josh (Kelsey) Potter of Mauston; great grandsons: Jake Arambel of New York, Nic Arambel of Milwaukee, Mitchell and Brock Seifert of Wonewoc, and other family and friends.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Inas Stanton and Betty Pierce;brothers: Albert, Earl, Orville, John, Harry, and other family and friends.
Angie enjoyed having company at her house and spending time with family and friends. For the people lucky enough to know her they were able to observe what it was like to put other people before themselves. Angie was the perfect example of what compassion, love, and generosity looked like. She was always quick to open her door and her arms to anyone in need. She truly made this world a better place while she was alive.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 7th, at 12:00 p.m. at the Crandall Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
