Ancora’s University Avenue location to move to a bigger space
Ancora will temporarily close on July 27 to reopen less than a block away to a larger location at 3256 University Ave.
Ancora’s University Avenue location is moving less than a block away to a larger location at 3256 University Ave., where Pancheros most recently was located.
According to a Facebook post, the current space has proven to be too small to sustain the cafe’s day-to-day operations.
Ancora has relocated on University before, making this its third move. The new location will feature two levels of indoor seating and an outdoor patio with more space to study, work or gather with friends.

The woman-owned cafe has two other locations on King Street and Sherman Avenue. All three locations are equipped with full kitchens and serve Ancora coffee, along with food and pastries.
The current location is closing July 27, with the new space expected to reopen in mid-August.
