Amber Alert for Eau Claire boy canceled; boy safe, dad in custody

Police said the man accused of abducting his 14-month-old son is in custody and the boy is safe Saturday evening.

An Amber Alert was issued Saturday for Devin Moggo, who police said was abducted by his non-custodial father Joshua E. Moggo during a supervised visit.

The alert said Joshua Moggo may have been headed to Grayling, Michigan. Officials said Joshua Moggo may have left the Eau Claire area with Devin Saturday around noon.

The alert was canceled at about 6 p.m. Saturday. Eau Claire police said the two were located; Devin was safe and Joshua Moggo was in custody with the Altoona Police Department.

Police thanked the public for their help.
