All clear given after odor investigation at Verona High School

VERONA, Wis. — Firefighters from Madison were called Wednesday morning to assist Verona firefighters in an odor investigation at Verona High School.
Dane County dispatchers said firefighters were called at 7:32 a.m. to the high school at 300 Richard St. An all clear was given just before 9 a.m.
A Facebook post from the school district said a staff member noticed a suspicious odor and the building was evacuated as a precaution.
Madison fire officials said they were called to assist at the scene because they have special equipment that could help identify the source of the odor.
Students were being kept out of the area of the school where the investigation was underway.
