Alert Day: Frost likely Tuesday morning

An Alert Day is in the forecast for Tuesday morning for widespread frost in southern Wisconsin; a hard freeze is also possible for areas well north of Madison.
As skies become mostly clear overnight, temperatures will fall to the lower 30s for overnight lows with a light breeze from the north.
Frost advisories will be in effect for all of southern Wisconsin early Tuesday morning. Freeze warnings have been issued for areas north of Wisconsin Dells.
Tuesday night will likely also be cool, but temperatures will start to trend closer to average by the end of the week, and into the 70s by the weekend.
