ALDI recalls frozen peas sold in Wisconsin

BATAVIA, Ill. — Grocery chain ALDI is recalling frozen peas sold at its stores in several states due to possible listeria contamination.
The peas, packaged by Manitowoc-based Lakeside Foods, were sold under the Season’s Choice brand with best by dates of August and September 2018. The peas were on store shelves in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, among other states.
A full list of the affected products and the corresponding packaging codes can be found on ALDI’s website.
Anyone who purchased the affected peas should discard them immediately or return them to the store for a full refund.
ALDI said the affected items have since been removed from store shelves.
