Alabama once again is atop The Associated Press college football poll, breaking Ohio State’s record with their 106th overall appearance.

The Crimson Tide received a season-high 54 first-place votes in the poll released Sunday, sticking at No. 1 ahead of No. 2 Clemson.

The Buckeyes, who held their No. 4 spot this week, have topped the poll 105 times since it began in 1936.

No. 3 Georgia also held its spot, while Oklahoma moved to No. 5, leapfrogging No. 6 Wisconsin.
