$986K approved for taxiway project at Dane County Regional Airport
MADISON, Wis. — Construction is expected to begin this summer on a new taxiway at the Dane County Regional Airport.
The state of Wisconsin will contribute $789,228 toward design of the taxiway, and Dane County will contribute $197,307.
The taxiway will be parallel to Runway 14/32.
Matt Messina, an airport development engineer for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, said the new taxiway will improve safety and traffic flow at the airport.
The design is expected to be complete by April.
