#5 Badgers blank Lions in home opener

MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin women’s hockey team kept their undefeated record against Lindenwood in tact with ease on Thursday.

The Badgers outshot the Lions 72-3, which led to 6 goals for the home team. Lacey Eden, Sophie Shirley, and Maddie Wheeler all tallied 2 goals a piece, while Cami Kronish earned her first shutout as a Badger.

Wisconsin improved to 2-1 with the win.
