44-year-old woman cuts husband’s neck, police say
TOWN OF DELL PRAIRIE, Wis. — A Dell Prairie woman was arrested last week for allegedly cutting her husband’s neck.
Adams County deputies were sent on March 21 to a town of Dell Prairie residence for a report of a man who had been cut on the neck, officials said.
Deputies found a man with a laceration to his neck who was bleeding heavily and in a semi-conscious state, according to a release.
Aneta Zapotoczny, 44, the victim’s wife, was arrested on several charges, including attempted homicide, disorderly conduct – domestic abuse and resisting an officer.
The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo and then by helicopter to UW Hospital in Madison.
