4 TVs, Xbox 360 stolen in Milton home invasion, police say

Electronics were stolen from a Milton home during a home invasion early Wednesday, police said.

The Milton Police Department said a man told officers he was sleeping at home about 5:30 a.m. when two men entered his bedroom and woke him up.

He told police the men punched him in the leg and threatened to shoot him, demanding $5,000, which the victim told them he didn’t have. No firearm was displayed.

While two burglars were in the bedroom with the victim, a possible third suspect began taking electronics from other areas in the home, according to the report. Missing property includes four televisions, an Xbox 360 and the victim’s cellphone. The burglars then left.

Police said the victim found another phone and called his father, who called 911 at 6:25 a.m. A Rock County Sheriff’s Department evidence technician helped police process the scene.

The victim couldn’t give officers a detailed description, but told police that the two men he saw were white, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet,10 inches tall, wearing jeans and dark coats. One of the burglars might have had facial hair. The victim could not provide a description of the possible third burglar.

Milton police asked anyone with information related to the incident to call the department through the Rock County 911 Communications Center at 608-757-2244 or Crime Stoppers at 608-756-3636. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the free P3 tips app in the Apple or Google Play stores.
