4 injured, 1 cited in Green County crash

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Wis. — Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries in a crash in Green County on Thursday, the Green County Sheriff’s Office said.
Authorities said in a news release that deputies were called to the intersection of Highway 81 and County Highway N around 4:11 p.m. for a crash with injuries.
The release said a 34-year-old Monroe woman was driving west on Highway 81 when she slowed to turn left onto Highway N. A vehicle being driven by a 19-year-old Monroe man was following the woman’s vehicle, didn’t see she was slowing down and rear-ended her.
The woman and her three passengers, a 12-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital.
The 19-year-old man was uninjured, but was cited for following too close, the release said.
