Janesville PD response to a disorderly conduct complaint

Three train cars hauling grain tipped over when a train derailed south of Delavan Drive in Janesville Monday night, according to a news alert.

Just after 9 p.m. a Janesville police officer found a train that was derailed between Jerome and Putnam avenues, officials said. Four cars hauling grain were off the tracks, and three of them were tipped over.

There were no injuries reported and no hazardous material spilled, according to the alert.

Several intersections were blocked Monday night, but were opened by Tuesday morning.
