3 injured in Grant County UTV crash, officials say

One person was transported by Med Flight and two others suffered minor injuries in a UTV crash in the town of North Lancaster early Saturday morning, Grant County officials said.

The Grant County 911 center received a report of a UTV crash on Borah Road at 6 a.m., according to a release.

Deputies said Delmar Faltades-Sosa, 21, of Lancaster, was driving a 2012 Polaris UTV west on Borah Road when he failed to negotiate a 90-degree turn, causing the UTV to tip onto its side.

Faltades-Sosa and one of his passengers, Jesse Abing, 34, of Lancaster, suffered minor injuries, according to the release. The second passenger, Edwardo Suarez, 22, of Lancaster, was transported by Med Flight with head injuries from the crash.

None of the people involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, officials said.
