3 events will close several Madison streets Saturday

Three events Saturday will close streets on Madison’s south and near east sides, as well as downtown.
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will close roads in the Bay Creek neighborhood from 7 to 10 a.m., officials said.
Runners will be on the southbound side of John Nolen Drive between Rimrock Road and Lakeside Street, according to a release. Both directions of traffic will use the northbound side of John Nolen Drive.
The 900 block of Williamson Street will also be closed Saturday between South Paterson and South Brearly streets from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for Fruit Fest, officials said.
Several streets will be closed downtown from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Cows on the Concourse, according to the release.
Main Street will be closed from South Carroll Street to South Pinckney Street, and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will be closed from Main Street to Wilson Street, officials said.
Metro Transit bus routes will be detoured during these closures.
