21-year-old arrested, suspected cooking meth in his home

MONROE, Wis. — A 21-year-old Monroe man is accused this week of running a meth operation.
The Green County Sheriff’s Office said the Stateline Area Narcotics Team searched a home Thursday afternoon in the 2600 block of 12th Avenue in Monroe. Ethan Studer was arrested and is facing charges of possessing and manufacturing methamphetamine, according to officials.
Police were acting on a tip that Studer’s home was housing a drug operation, according to a news release.
Since Studer was exposed to the hazardous materials in his home, the Monroe Fire Department was called to decontaminate him before he was taken to county jail, the sheriff’s office said.
