2-year-old injured by bicyclist

A 2-year-old suffered a broken leg when he was struck by a bicyclist Monday night, according to a release from Madison police.

Police said the boy was on a sidewalk in the 1900 block of Fisher Street when he was struck by a bicycle pedaled by an 8-to-9-year-old girl.

Officials said they will identify the girl and talk to her about the importance of keeping a bike under control and yielding to pedestrians.
