2 OK after plane makes emergency landing near Oshkosh
The Winnebago sheriff’s department reported that an experimental aircraft heading for the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh air show had to make an emergency landing Sunday.
The sheriff’s department said that the plane lost its engine and landed on a rural field outside of Oshkosh.
The plane’s pilot and sole passenger were not hurt.
The EAA AirVenture Oshkosh air show begins Monday, July 29.
