2 killed in motorcycle crash near Waupaca
Blown tire apparently caused the motorcycle to lose control
WAUPACA, Wis. — Two people are dead after a motorcycle crash in central Wisconsin.
Waupaca police said one person died at the scene while the second died at Riverside Medical Center.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 10 outside of Waupaca.
Police said a blown tire apparently caused the motorcycle to lose control. Neither speed nor alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
Neither victim was wearing a helmet. Their names were not immediately released.
