2 injured in school bus vs. car crash in McFarland

Crews responded to a car versus school bus crash on Siggelkow Road in McFarland Tuesday afternoon.

There were no kids on the bus at the time of the crash, but the bus driver and the driver of the car were injured, officials said. The bus was about to pick kids up from Common Threads Family Resource Center.

The crash happened just before 1:30 p.m. at Siggelkow Road and Black Walnut Drive, authorities said.

McFarland police said the bus was not moving and was waiting to turn with its yellow flashing lights on when it was hit from behind.

Eastbound Siggelkow Road was blocked during the crash investigation.
