JPD: 2 men found dead in Janesville likely died in murder-suicide

JANESVILLE, Wis. — Janesville police are investigating after they found two men dead inside a southside home Thursday night.
Authorities said they believe the men likely died in a murder-suicide.
Officers responded to a shots fired report around 10 p.m. Thursday night at the 1100 block of Kellogg Avenue. When they arrived, officers found a woman screaming and the two men dead outside of a trailer.
Authorities said the two men, a 43-year-old and a 27-year-old, both suffered gunshot wounds.
Police said that all parties were known to each other and that the incident was isolated. They said there is no threat to the community.
Authorities’ investigation is ongoing.
