2 arrested on drug, maintaining drug dwelling charges, police say

FOOTVILLE, Wis. — Two Footville residents were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after police searched their residence.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Special Investigations Unit, along with the Department of Criminal Investigation of Clandestine Lab Team, executed a search warrant at 309 Centre St. in the village of Footville, according to a release.
The search warrant was issued as part of an investigation into the manufacturing of methamphetamines inside the residence, officials said.
Numerous items associated with the production of meth, along with the finished product were found inside the home, according to the release.
Jamie W. Shaw, 43, and Trisha L. Malmquist, 37, were arrested on tentative charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, knowingly possessing methamphetamine waste, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Malmquist was also arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping.
