2 arrested in drug bust; police confiscate $29,000 worth of cocaine, meth

Baraboo police executed a search warrant Wednesday, making two arrests after finding nearly $30,000 worth of various drugs on the premises, according to a police report.

As part of an ongoing investigation, crews searched 327 Eighth Ave. Wednesday.

Froylan Castro, 24, and Kenia Martinez, 23, were arrested and charged with possession and intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine, according to the report. Police found more than a pound of methamphetamine on the scene, as well as 84 grams of cocaine and a firearm.

The investigation into the scene is ongoing.
