2 arrested for convenience store robbery

Deputies: Evidence from robbery found in man's home

TOWN OF BURKE, Wis. — Two men were arrested during an investigation into the armed robbery of a convenience store in April.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office said Corin J. Cramer, 39, of Tomah, and Adrian S. Collins, 40, of DeForest, were arrested May 21 at Collins’ home on County Road B in DeForest after investigators learned the two were working together.

On April 15, two clerks at the TA Travel Center at 5901 U.S. Highway 51 in the town of Burke told deputies a gloved and masked man entered the store at 3:50 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money before fleeing to a truck waiting outside with another man driving.

Detectives believed the truck was the same truck stolen from a town of Windsor resident. The truck was recovered and returned to the owner.

Deputies said they found evidence connected to the robbery and evidence of drug trafficking when making the arrests.

Cramer was arrested on suspicion armed robbery with the use of force, possession of a firearm by a felon and felony bail jumping. Collins was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon, felony bail jumping and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
