$10K Reward Offered For Information In La Crosse Slaying
A $10,000 reward is being offered in the case of a 20-year-old woman who was killed in La Crosse.
Sara Hougom, a part-time college student and waitress, was shot March 26 inside her apartment and later died at a hospital. Police have offered no new details on the case since last week.
The La Crosse Tribune reported that Toronto businessman Sam Paglia is offering the reward for information leading to a conviction. He’s said he never met Hougom, though he considers her father a close friend and wants to do whatever he can to help him heal.
Paglia is also accepting donations to the reward fund.
As of Monday, he says he’s received about $750 through a website he set up.
