19-year-old man shot on Madison’s east side Sunday night

MADISON, Wis. — A 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital for injuries received during a shooting, according to the Madison Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of East Washington Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. , police said.

Police believe the shooting was targeted and do not believe the public is in any danger .
