1 dead in Sun Prairie motorcycle crash identified

A 28-year-old motorcyclist killed when he collided with a car in Sun Prairie Sunday afternoon is identified as a Marshall man.

Robert C. Devine died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to a release from the Dane County medical examiner.

Officers were called to the crash at 3:27 p.m. at the intersection of North Grand Avenue and Ironwood Drive.

Devine was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead. Authorities did not say if the 81-year-old driver was hurt in the crash.

Sun Prairie police are investigating the accident, with toxicology tests pending.
